Everyday Living Skills
This area is considered to be the foundation of all other learning. Fundamental tools for learning -coordination of fine motor movements, organization, concentration, and independence are established when the child learns to put on clothing, tying shoes, etc., to take care of plants and animals, to clean up, to move gracefully, to be courteous.
Sensory-Motor Learning
Beautiful sensorial material serves the refinement of the child's senses. The child learns to differentiate shapes, colors, sizes, textures, sounds, tastes, and to enhance its self-control of its body.
Language Arts
The learning materials in this area help the children to develop verbal skills, writing, reading, storytelling, and dramatizing. The phonics approach to reading is utilized.
Mathematics
The didactic material encourages hands-on learning of mathematical concepts.
Cultural Appreciation
This area includes activities to learn about the world around us, seasons, growing plants, animal life, different cultures, and various occupations.
Special Programs
Spanish, computer, and gymnastics are
offered.
